PinPoint Audio

For my A2 product design project I decided to design an outdoor speaker system. I feel that there are

many problems surrounding outdoor speaker systems currently on the market. They are rarely portable

because of underground cabling and usually lack in aesthetic and ergonomic quality. The PinPoint

speaker system aims to solve all these issues, while providing a musical experience targeted directly at

the user by using ultrasonic arrays rather than typical speaker drivers which leak sound into your

neighbours’ garden. My prototypes showcase the design of the PinPointers (the speakers), which are just

part of the battery powered PinPoint Audio system which I designed in my A2 project.
