Now since I am using MCA as a reference (mainly because of its online popularity) you end up
promoting ONLY the company and not YOURSELF. When you do this you not only LIMIT
yourself for expansion later, but you won’t GROW as a BRAND.
Business opportunities are the beginning of your journey, depending on your goals, your drive
and your vision, typically the 1%ers start with a company, BRAND themselves, grow, create a
strong following, and then…..
CREATE THEIR OWN PRODUCT, TRAINING, BUSINESS, ETC
Most “trainings” online suggest you go with something like
“Work with <insert name>”
“Get Paid with <insert name>”
“Partner with <insert name>”
It’s better than saying you are a rep for Company X, but it’s not truly a brand.
Now let me tell you a short back story of my BRAND! In 2011 I created “Further Beyond
Imagination”, it was my photography business. Bad*** name, really captured people, and I was
successful, my quality of work and dedication made me known in all of Nashville, TN within my
first month! And people still knew that Further Beyond Imagination was Ashley Gunther.
Now if I called my business Photos by Ashley Gunther, it’s just not as AWESOME!
Eventually I went into the online world, kept the name for awhile, even blogged with it, then
dropped the “Imagination” because of its length (so much for people to type). So, I become
Further Beyond (still awesome). Fast forward to 2016, I added the “Go” and in Dec 2016/Jan
2017 I launched my first official training course, Go Further Beyond.
Added a motto, “Why Not You” (because it changed my life), got a logo, and a website and ran
with it. At one point in time I was mentoring almost 1200 students worldwide, with the
addition of my other branded training course “Discover Your eBaylife” (again I branded myself,
even had shirts and hats made)
So, for the beginners in this online money making industry, your first step is to BRAND yourself!
Even if you haven’t joined a company yet and you are just searching figuring out the WHO you
are is the best step to creating your brand.
So here are my best steps & advice to creating your brand name and motto!
