mean NO2 concentrations was very weak. Nonetheless, research undertaken in 2003 has
indicated that the hourly NO2 objective is unlikely to be exceeded at a roadside location where

the annual mean NO2 concentration is less than 60 μg/m . Given that predicted NO2
concentrations in 2024 is above below 60 μg/m at a number of receptors along Keycol Hill,

the short-term objective for NO2 is likely to be exceeded at these locations.

Particulate Matter

5.15 Predicted annual mean concentrations for PM10 at existing and proposed receptors using all
future scenarios (2024) are provided in Table 17 (Proposed Development flows only) and
Table 18 (Proposed + Committed flows). The change in predicted concentrations at existing
and proposed receptors has also been provided, together with the impact descriptor for each
existing receptor.
