First of all, we are grateful to Allah SWT for the
mercy and blessing with which we are able to
produce this P.O.I.S.E Performance Management
Core Values book.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our utmost
gratitude to the Honourable Professor Dato’ Ir. Dr. Mohd Hamdi Abd
Shukor, Vice Chancellor and the Honourable Professor Ir. Dr. Noor
Azuan Abu Osman, Acting Registrar of Universiti Malaya for entrusting
us with the task of producing this book and guiding us along the way.

The writing of this book would not be possible without the cooperation
and esprit de corps among team members who contributed by providing
constructive feedback and views, as well as collecting data in preparation
for the content of this book. The tireless effort and commitment from each
member are among the key factors that ensure this book is completed
within the stipulated time frame. We would also like to thank Dr. Yeo Siang
