5.0 Research Methodology
This section discusses the research methodology, which includes the
research design, respondents, development of early instruments, instrument
validity and reliability, data collection and analysis in producing the items for
P.O.I.S.E Core Values (NTP) assessment.
In order to produce NTP
assessment items, the authors
used questionnaires as the

appropriate research design is the
quantitative method because it
provides answers to the suitability
of the desired objectives for the
purpose of constructing NTP
assessment items.
54 Subsequently, to assess the
constructed items, TF11 identified
suitable respondents to be
involved in this study. These
respondents were chosen based
on purposive sampling to ensure
each relevant stakeholder in
Universiti Malaya was involved.
