gather to help, the dog takes off with one loaf and runs away with
his earnings. So too regarding the Yetzer Hara. He traps man by
appearing to be asleep so that the person will let down his guard
against him.” The point of the Midrash is that one’s Yetzer Hara 'ג קרֶֶפּ
deceives man and appears to him to be sleeping so that man will
let down his guard against him until the Yetzer Hara sees that
               this man’s mind is napping and he (this man) is no longer on
guard to protect himself against him. He (the Yetzer Hara) will
suddenly appear from his place of ambush and will entrap him. .
This literally is what evil people do in their deceit to steal and
               rob.
               Therefore one must strengthen oneself not lose sight of guarding
oneself (against his Yetzer Hara) specifically regarding the
               disciplining of one‘s speech. This is the meaning of the text (Micha קֶלֵח ןַיְנִעְל םיִכָיַּשַּׁה רָסוּמַּהְו תוֹכָלֲהַה דֹמְלִל ,הֵבּרְַה םִאְו

(sanctified).” As man begins to sanctify himself a little, they
               (Heaven) will greatly sanctify him. Furthermore, our Sages of
