RESEARCH BACKGROUND
To harness the environmental problems faced by the industry and build up a better image
and reputation, hotel brands have started to launch different policies to contribute to
environmental protection. This study will investigate two specific sustainable practices
including sustainable amenities and energy-saving guestroom control system, and
explore how these sustainable practices affect the considerations of Hong Kong people

My name is Ruby, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Hotel Operations
Management. Throughout my academic journey, I have learned the principles of hotel
management. I am dedicated to continuously developing my skills and knowledge,
hoping to contribute to the hotel industry positively. I also want to express my sincere
