Guide on the Allowable Maximum Building Footprint (as per the National Building Code of the
Philippines) per Land Use Allocation for ISU – Echague Campus
In order to maintain a sustainable approach, it is imperative to keep in mind that the land use allocation covers 2 major components,
buildable area and the open space. As per PD 1096 (National Building Code of the Philippines), the percentage of site occupancy or
allowable maximum building footprint should be of utmost consideration to maintain a balanced environment for the built and
natural. The following figures will serve as a guide for future infrastructure projects in the campus.
