INITIAL PROPOSED

CAMPUS LAND USE

The proposed land use plan is an

amalgamation of the inputs and comments
gathered during presentation of the three
alternative schemes. The main details of the
proposed land use plan are as follows:

1. The Institutional Core will be located
on the center of the campus
surrounded by the loop road. The
colleges shall be zoned together and
those that will be displaced will be
moved to the Institutional Core.

2. The southern part of the lot near an
existing community will be dedicated for
Residential/Housing development.
3. The front part of the campus adjacent
to the Echague Municipal Complex shall
be allotted for Commercial
development. This shall be eyed to
provide services not only for the campus
but for the people of Echague as well.

4. The northern part near the area leased
by NFA will be dedicated for Agro-
Industrial development.
5. The area near the Academic and
Research Zones shall be used for Eco-
tourism projects and activities.
6. A linear park/open space development
shall be created along the entry road.
7. A huge portion of the campus property
shall be retained for Agricultural
activities (demo and experimental

farms).
