TUTOR’S  ASSESSMENT - G20                                     ENGLISH LANGUAGE CAMP 2018






        The following is the summary of the observation gathered from the English Language Program conducted.


        TRAINING OBJECTIVE
        The objective was to create an experiential learning experience through application of the English language and its tools that
        encompasses a heritage tour.


        TRAINING METHODOLOGY
        The training methodology follows an Active Learning and Communicative Learning approach. Students are to be engaged in
        the target language and relevance of the language outside the classroom is clear. All lessons aims and outcomes are related
        to authentic and practical use of the language in real-life contexts.


        LEVEL OF INTEREST FROM THE PARTICIPANTS
        The students were highly enthusiastic and very open to different teaching methods.



        CORPORATION AND PARTICIPATION FROM THE PARTICIPANTS
        The students were highly engaged when the workshop activities were blended with games and hands-on discussions using
        items (example – during the classification topic where they had to arrange cards and buttons into categories).



        CONCLUSION
        This English Language Program was useful and a great experience to enhance the participants’ English proficiency and use
        of the language through engagement.
