Exhibition Centres Bernardo Hernández Sierra Lecture Exhibition Centres

On Friday, May 8, the lecture by Colombian photographer Bernardo Hernández Sierra was
held, with the attendance of more than 80 participants from various countries, including Chile,
Honduras, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and Argentina.
The lecture focused on how to create photographs that truly work, regardless of genre or
technique. Through examples of sports photography, nature photography, and other styles, Bernardo
presented a practical system based on scene interpretation, composition, technique, and editing.
This approach enables photographers to create images with impact, purpose, and value, both for
competitions and clients. More than simply learning how to take photographs, the goal is to develop
the critical judgment needed to understand what makes an image stand out, connect with viewers,
and become memorable.

About Bernardo Hernández Sierra (“Berches”):
Bernardo Hernández Sierra is an Electronic Engineer with 23 years of experience in photography.
He is a personal photography coach and has served as an advisor, organizer, and judge in several
photography competitions in Colombia and Panama.
