FIAP EXHIBITION CENTRES FIAP EXHIBITION CENTRES

This activity forms part of the collaboration project between the Asemeyando Photographic
Association and the Eastern International Photography Art Association, established through
the agreement entitled “Collaboration Agreement for the Revitalization of Culture and the
Arts Internationally.” The purpose of this agreement is to foster cooperation between the two
organizations and contribute to the globalization and revitalization of photographic art through
artistic support, the international exchange of exhibitions, and active cultural and artistic
interaction.
For this exhibition, the exhibitors wrote the following words:

“The wind of the hometown of Confucius always carries with it the enduring warmth
of a cultural tradition spanning three thousand years. It moves through streets and fields,
brushing gently against the everyday rhythms of ordinary households. Six photographers
rooted in this land use their cameras as brushes and time as their canvas. Far from grand Fiery youth
Exhibition Centres in the hometown of Confucius into images filled with warmth and humanity. Exhibition Centres
narratives, they capture fleeting glimmers within the folds of daily life, fixing ordinary days

Here, the resilience of work is revealed: livelihoods sustained even during snowy nights,
the translucent texture of starch noodles drying in the sun, the harvest of persimmons from
orchard trees, the sweat and motion of construction sites, and the skilled hands weaving
wicker—transforming craftsmanship into hope for the family. Each figure writes, firmly
grounded, the steady and serene story of everyday life.
Here, cultural heritage continues: fingertips transmit the impressions of Han Dynasty
stone reliefs; the delicate creativity of paper cutting; the meticulous craftsmanship involved
in the making of calligraphy brushes; the ritual elegance of Ming Dynasty–style weddings;
and the flowing sleeves of a young woman dressed in hanfu. Tradition quietly takes root
within contemporary life—it does not fade; it simply renews itself.

Here beats the living pulse of everyday life: a game of table tennis during a ten-minute
break between classes, the exuberance of stilt performances, a mother and her son leaning Harvest persimmons
on one another under the rain, the convenience of paying with WeChat Pay, the many by Dai Zhizhong
scenes of street life, and the lively atmosphere of village performances. Tradition and
modernity meet and intertwine, igniting the most moving vitality of ordinary moments.

In the shifting interplay of light and shadow, one senses the love of life shared by
the people of this land, where cultural heritage coexists with the warmth of daily living.
These seemingly ordinary moments contain the most authentic face of the hometown of
Confucius: not a distant historical symbol, but a warmth that can be felt up close.
These images not only document the diversity of Chinese society, but also reflect the
singular character of the hometown of Confucius: a land of profound cultural richness
where tradition and modernity are inseparably intertwined.”
