First and foremost, we express our gratitude to the writers whose
articles we have so kindly used and included in this book. The
foundation of every excellent scientific and literary contributions is
the effort of several people from the distant and recent past.

We also appreciate everyone who offered advice, gave examples of
how to approach real-world issues, especially in the topic of zakat
and waqf, and contributed a dash of "reality" to the work we
covered. We express our gratitude to the several experts who
worked with us, without whose assistance the underlying research
and, consequently, this book, would not have been finished.

This book contains ten articles on zakat and waqf, as well as its
influence on women and community development. It is desired that
additional studies may be conducted to enhance zakat and waqf
among Muslims. Similarly, authority entities and religious
institutions can use every research conclusion as direction to build
policies or enhance zakat administration in Malaysia, especially in
the future.

The study and conclusions will provide readers with a better grasp
of a subject that is largely a topic relevant to the present debate. As
a result, we'd want to thank everyone who helped make the
publishing of this book a success by offering ideas and insights.
