Zakat Academy (AZKA-PPZ) was officially established in February
2019 by Pusat Pungutan Zakat (PPZ-MAIWP). AZKA-PPZ's main
purpose is to be the Center of Excellence in the area of zakat,
philanthropy, and social finance.
Our activities include conducting forums, workshops, and webinars
involving academia, zakat industry members, and communities.
AZKA also published academic journals (namely AZJAF), research
reports, monographs, and books relating to zakat, philanthropy, and
social finances. Our objectives as follows:
v Enriching Knowledge in The Topic Of Zakat, Waqf &
Philanthropy. Conducting programs includes forums, classes,
workshops, colloquium or dialogue involving the academic
community, zakat industry members and public
v Conducting Research on Zakat and Waqf. Studies of specific
issues based on industrial need and collaboration with other
stakeholders such as universities and recognized research bodies
v Publishing Research Materials. Publication of journals,
papers, books and research reports related to zakat, philanthropy
and social finance.
v Collaboration With Various Industries and Academic
Institutions. Strengthen partnerships with various industries
and academic institutions to assist in conducting research and
zakat-related activities.
