Because of the importance of the work, appointed members were asked not to make
substitutions in their place for taskforce meetings. However, it was noted that substitutions did
occur but there did not appear to be any feedback as a result. As part of the charge, it was
advised that taskforce members seek input from faculty and staff who were asked to contribute
to the success of SUBR-PPI.
The desired outcomes from the PPI process were:
Continued excellence of programs
Identification of funds for excellence and for innovation
Ability to respond quickly and effectively to the learning needs of state, national and
global marketplace
Understanding of a clear, strategic sense of what we need to be as an institution to
impact student success
Development of a strategic balance between academic and administrative support
services
Meet the demands of our Mission, Margin and Market
Strategic Balance and Financial Sustainability
The guiding principles and ground rules were established and served as an agreement for how
the group intends to interact with each other. It established a code of conduct that helped the
taskforce to achieve its objectives. The agreed upon ground rules and guiding principles were:
