JAMES CORDEN: After taking over as host of the Late Late Show for Craig Ferguson in 2015, Corden has
made the show his own. Corden and his staff have deployed a unique strategy for late-night television and
have placed less emphasis on overnight ratings and a greater emphasis on online views. Corden has
created segments, most notably "Carpool Karaoke," that when posted online achieve significant viewership.
"Carpool Karaoke" has musicians join Corden for a drive while singing along to their greatest hits. Corden’s
YouTube channel has a combined 1.7 billion views and has attracted advertising interest from McDonald’s,
which appeared in Selena Gomez’s "Carpool Karaoke" video. As Corden’s appeal grows in North America,
he is appearing as the face of notable brands. Corden has starred in commercials for Apple and Pepsi, with
Apple committing to produce exclusive "Carpool Karaoke" segments for Apple Music in the future.

JOHN CENA: WWE wrestlers have a history of crossing over from
wrestling into more mainstream entertainment. Their natural ability for
performance and acting can allow them to step outside of the WWE and
display their range. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is most notable for
making this transition and this year, we saw John Cena begin to step
outside of the WWE and begin working with Tier-1 brands. Cena has
shown an ability for acting and comedy, having appeared in multiple
movies and TV shows, including his hosting of the 2016 ESPY Awards.
His acting ability has made him attractive to brands, as he has been
used by Hefty, the American Ad Council, and Cricket Wireless (in which

LESLIE JONES: Saturday Night Live has a history of not only launching
comedy careers, but giving brands a crop of comedians to leverage as
endorsers (cast members Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, and Bill Hader have all
appeared in marketing campaigns). It was this past summer that Leslie
Jones' appeal began to grow as she starred in the latest Ghostbusters
film and her live tweeting during the Olympics also became a viral
sensation and earned her an invitation from NBC to travel to the Games
to appear as a guest commentator. Insurance brand Allstate has used
her to promote their Pure Power product. With her unique style of
comedy, Jones can give brands an ambassador with a distinct voice.
