Thanks to all of the Lions and Lions Clubs for participating in the 2-X1 Mid- Winter Conference. Everyone in the room seemed to be having fun. I am so proud of the Zone Chairs this year. Nine out of ten had their written report submitted and attended the Cabinet Meeting.
The PDGs’ asked the Governor’s team what action that they would take to increase and retain members and stop the drops? I have questioned our GMT District Coordinator PDF Wayne Meachum about their plan. He indicated that he will have one after he meets with the MD2 GMT this weekend.
Thanks to PCC John Eads for filling in for PCC Mike Rourke who has pneumonia. I have talked with Lion Mike today, he indicated he is feeling much better.
Congratulations to the Ennis Lions Club for holding a membership drive. In the second half of our Lions year, I would encourage each club to engage in a membership drive within your community. If you need any help please contact GMT Lion Wayne or 1VDG Lion Keith.
Mark your calendar for our next Cabinet Meeting on March 24, 2018. The meeting will be hosted by the Dallas Oak Cliff Lions Club. More information will be coming from Oak Cliff President Lion John McCall Jr.
