Mark Pilkington
Chief Operating Office
A career insurance professional with over 35 years’ experience in UK, offshore and
international insurance, across both life and general insurance.
Mark joined the industry after university as an actuarial student and has experience
in almost all aspects of the insurance business with latterly, almost 25 years based
on the Isle of Man, working at a senior level for a number of international insurers.
During his career Mark has been involved in the start-up of three companies in both Dublin and the
Isle of Man.
Neil Taverner
Appointed Actuary and Chief Risk Officer
Neil is a consulting actuary with Boal and Co, a specialist actuarial services company
on the Isle of Man. Prior to that Neil was Senior Actuary at the Isle of Man Financial
Services Authority, leading its actuarial team and the development of the Island’s
new capital adequacy regime for the life and non-life insurance sectors.
His previous experience includes as Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer of Old
Mutual’s operations in the UK, Isle of Man and Europe, and as a Partner in the UK
actuarial consulting practices of both Ernst & Young and Watson Wyatt. He has a
total of over 30 years’ experience in regulation, industry and consulting, in the Isle of Man, UK, France
and Mexico.
Alan Molloy
Head of Corporate Governance and Operational Risk
A member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (UK) with over 20
years’ experience in regulatory approved executive roles within the financial
services industry, Alan has significant ‘hands-on’ direct knowledge and experience
of risk and compliance oversight, business management and corporate governance
gained within private and public companies.
Alan was previously the Managing Director of Duncan Lawrie Private Bank (Isle of Man).
