 The key difference between these two roles is that HCCs
are clinicians. ILs are non-clinicians.

 Both are patient-facing roles that ensure all patients meet
VNSNY home care criteria at intake.

 Both use “BD Onsite Assessment (Onsite Staff) Hospital
Hold” Coordination note.

 Both will have to fax documents to the central IA in
absence of CSR.

 Both must follow up with ECIN response to referrer.
