Cholesterol can only be introduced
through diets containing meats,
sugar, starch, carbohydrate foods,
and foods rich in trans fatty acids.
The body takes the saturated fatty
acids found in these foods and
makes cholesterol out of it.
Trans-fatty acids are used in most
vegetable oils and margarines, and
increases levels of bad cholesterol in
the body.
Low-density lipoprotein (LDL)
comprises more fat and less protein.
