What’s New?
Signature Clinical Programs
2015-2016
Efforts to implement our clinically-based programs have been going full Program
force. Educator preparation programs have been redesigned at CSU. The Coordinators/
new educator preparation programs are based on a professional, Directors
collaborative, integrative, clinical model for teacher preparation that will result
in student-focused, teacher licensure programs. The new program offers a
clinical basis for teacher education with emphasis on field experience and Debbie Jackson, PhD

Marketing Initiatives

This academic year, the department has begun to expend a great deal of Early Childhood Education
energy focusing on marketing initiatives, such as major revisions to the Coordinator
website, radio advertisements, Julka Hall monitor postings, and printed
marketing material. The aim is to increase enrollment and student interest in Michele Bowman, PhD
various certificate and endorsement programs. Marketing initiatives resulted
in increased summer enrolment for the following programs: Intensive English Language
