PROBLEMS IDENTIFIED




     1.     Participants’ attendance for the course organized by KTP-UMP was not really convincing at the beginning of the
            course due to some negative perceptions toward previous school programmes.

     2.     Most of the participants are new SeRIA school teachers for 2013/2014 session resulting them not taking the Peda
            gogical Fundamental course that has been conducted in the previous year.

     3.     “Kem Anak Soleh” was focusing on the primary school students of Ibnu Abbas and high commitment was given
            by them.

     4.     Teachers have taken an initiative to fully organize the camp with the support from Team KTP-UMP as the result of
            good feedback and experience from the previous “Kem Anak Soleh”.

     5.     Teachers managed to identify some weak students as well as students with lack of interest to learn Mathematics.
            Sharing session by Team KTP-UMP is hoped to assist teachers to organize the workshop without any help from the
            outsiders.
     6.     Teachers’ motivation should be enhanced in order to bring education level in SeRIA  in line with the Ministry’s aim
            and Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia (PPPM) 2013-2025.
     7.     Students need help from experts in motivating them to sit for UPSR.

     8.     Teachers’ Pedagogical Concept need to be strengthened and meet the students’ learning style.

     9.     Teachers need to be evaluated on the effectiveness of knowledge transferred by KTP-UMP.

     10.    The needs for programs to motivate students and teachers trained to organize various types of events.



    KNOWLEDGE TRANSFERRED

       1.     Teachers are exposed to the Foundation of Pedagogy.

       2.     Teachers are being exposed to the differences in students’ learning style and the development of effective teach
              ing aids.

       3.     Knowledge sharing on learning methodlogy for students of SeRIA through “Kem Anak Soleh”.
       4.     “Kem Anak Soleh” that was fully organized by teachers managed to improve teachers’ competency in organizing
              a seminar.
       5.     “A journey of Knowledge, A Day to Remember”, Teachers managed to
              get exposure on how to deal and support the weak and neglected
              through programs such as “A journey of Knowledge, A Day to Remember”.

       6.     Teachers motivation towards The National Education Development Plan
              2013-2015.

       7.     Tips to sit for UPSR
       8.     Strengthening of pedagogy through workshop organised.

       9.     Asssessment on teaching and learning methods.

       10.     Program Advisor for Student’s Excellent Award Event.

       11.     Workshop on Teaching and Learning based on Pedagogical Knowledge
               planning.
