Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO). Major responsibilities include:
Best Practices
Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals and toward overall efficiency within the business.
Help formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
Human Resources
• Develop the human resources department by establishing a Podio workspace to house all personnel
information and developing a company handbook.
• Work with COO finalize and document policies and procedures.
• Develop a plan for managers to conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain calendar in Podio to track out of office for staff.
• Manage health insurance communications and open enrollment process.
• Work with COO to address HR issues and research and gather information as requested.
Show Planning
Coordinate scheduling for tradeshows. Arrange team lodging/dining reservations and vendor meetings. Manage
the master schedule. Work with Management Team to determine attendees, rooming/dining needs, travel criteria,
and disseminate/collect information from team members and brands.
Payroll/Accounting
Learn payroll and invoicing on Quickbooks and provide support to David as needed.
Meetings & Travel
• Attend meetings as needed.
• Travel generally limited to major trade shows once or twice a year.
