Human Performance

Below you can see what it takes to remember something for a longer time.

Just because something is stored in long-term memory does not mean it cannot

be forgotten. Since there is limited space in long-term memory, new stored

information will push out information that is no longer used.

                2.7.2 Attention

Almost all everyday activities require us to use our attention.

Attention enables us to focus on the things we do, learn new skills, understand

both oral and written information, and reflect on things that have happened or

                might happen.

                2.7.2.1 What is attention?

The ability to concentrate is linked to various psychological and environmental

factors (noise, stress, worries, fatigue, distracting thoughts, etc.).
