Communication
to TWR. At larger aerodromes there may be a GROUND service. Ground will
initially give you taxi clearance and the first part of the taxi until you reach a
point where TWR takes over and controls your taxi out to the warm-up area or
stop line, where you prepare for departure.
TWR gives you take-off clearance and departure clearance.
4.5.2 TMA - APPROACH
If you are going to enter a TMA (Terminal Area), you must call APPROACH, e.g.
Karup APPROACH.
Same procedure as when crossing a control zone.
4.5.3 FIZ - Information
If you are going to enter a FIZ (Flight Information Zone), you must call AFIS
(Aerodrome Flight Information Service) e.g. Stauning Information.
You do not need a clearance, but you must state your intentions (what you
intend to do).
It is not permitted to fly through a FIZ without radio contact.
If you are going to fly from a place with FIZ and AFIS service, you must call
Information, e.g. Stauning Information for departure information.
