4.5.4 Restricted area
You must check NOTAM and find out whether a restricted area is active or not.
If the area is not active, you may fly through it without further ado.
If the area is announced as active via NOTAM, you can ask the ATS unit that has
contact with the area and possibly be allowed to fly through the area.
4.5.5 RMZ – Radio Mandatory Zone
If there is an area that is an RMZ (Radio Mandatory Zone), you may only fly into
it if you have radio contact with the ATS unit that provides radio service in the
area.
If you are flying anything other than VFR day flight, e.g. VFR Night flight, VFR
Flight without ground visibility or IFR flight, you must have 2-way radio contact
at all times.
