Operational procedures

The runway condition report contains information about the airport's ICAO

code, the current time, the runway, RWYCC, percentage coverage, depth, and

description of contaminants.

If the runway is shortened, the RWYCC describes the condition of the reduced

runway.
The runway condition code (RWYCC) is indicated using numbers in accordance

with the Runway Condition Assessment Matrix (RCAM).

Below is a translation/definition of the different terms.

Frost = rime

Slush = slush

Compacted snow = compressed snow

Dry snow = dry snow, powder snow

Wet snow = slush that can be formed into snowballs
without water running off it

Contaminated = more than 25% covered
