Communication

                 - BEG with English language endorsement (BEG-English)

If you are going to fly VFR abroad, you must have a BEG-English certificate

(or a GEN English). With a BEG-english certificate you are allowed to talk on

the radio all over the world, where English-language correspondence is

                     used.
You are not allowed to use a BEG-English certificate to talk in Danish in

Denmark. You need a BEG-Danish certificate for that.

                     This course is about BEG-English.

It is called BEG because it is restricted to VFR flight.

                 - GEN

If you are going to fly IFR, a GEN certificate is required. GEN stands for

GENerel certificate. The language here is English.

The theory for the GEN certificate must be read separately.

               4.2.2 Rights, conditions and responsibilities

The BEG-English certificate entitles the holder to conduct English-language radio

correspondence to and from an aircraft nationally and internationally, under the
conditions mentioned below, in connection with a VFR flight.

The use of radio equipment requires that the user has thoroughly familiarized
themselves with the operation of these, and that the user has a valid radio

certificate with a valid language level endorsement.

The person who carries out radio communication is responsible for ensuring that

their own communication takes place in accordance with the applicable
               regulations.

A BEG-danish certificate entitles you to communicate in Danish.

A BEG-english certificate entitles you to communicate in English.
