We Have Tried and Now We Cannot Stop

We constituted a new and unexperienced team of the first
KFC restaurant in Bryansk. And since our company had been ac-
tively managing various charity activities, we understood that we
also would deal with charity, but had no idea what to begin with.
It did not take us long to get engaged into the process. We
gathered a small group of volunteers and started to take part in
social activities and to change the life of our city for the better.
Here is what we were doing: among volunteers we collected
money for children with disabilities in order to buy medicines
for the kids in the rehabilitation center. We organized an aid-day
for senior people: we were visiting the retirees and helped them
with the house cleaning, bought some food products and were
just listening and communicating, after all, they appreciate atten-
tion and care most of all. Moreover, opposite our restaurant there
was an abandoned plot of land, which had always been dirty with
rubbish covering the grass. We decided that our town could look
better and tidier. We gathered together, brought some tools for
cleaning and got started! We mowed the grass, disposed the
rubbish and whitewashed the trees.
Our team has been inspired with helping other people and
participating not only in the corporate programs but also pro-
viding aid beyond the walls of the restaurant that has become
our second home. The employees have united and have become
a real family helping each other and those who need it.
