Chasing Yellow Lines

Now-a-days, she prefers creating her own challenges with a
focus on endurance and often cycles long stretches through
South Africa as a solo cyclist where she takes care of all her own
logistics, bike maintenance and needs. She has found that she is
quite capable of riding over 200 km’s a day for weeks at a time
with no rest days in between.

Apart from her love for cycling and other sports, she is
passionate about her 3 boys, has enjoyed success in business,
is a well-loved motivational speaker, writer, small business
development consultant and has recently taken on life coaching.
Because Cristin has suffered tremendous hardship and tragedy
in her life, she is completely committed to cultivating potential
in others and encouraging people to succeed - regardless of
their circumstances or current limitations. She is passionate to
see the eradication of poverty in South Africa once and for all
and believes that this can only be realized through individuals
who are empowered in the local community. For this reason,
her chosen charitable benefactor is African Angels, a school
doing great things in the Eastern Cape (South Africa’s poorest
province).
