Wow, we’re really getting there now!! Here’s a song for you to try with a minor
chord. The minor chord we are using is A minor (Am) and is a very common
chord is so many genres. Our song here is the old 60’s classic by the Animals
which was a folk style song adapted to the pop culture of the time.

          House of the Rising Sun

          Am C D F
There is a house in New Orleans

                   Am C E
          They call the Rising Sun

                       Am C D F
And Its been the ruin of many young poor boy

              Am E Am
In God, I know, I’m one

                Am C D F
          My mother was a tailor

          Am C E
          Sewed my new blue jeans

                Am C D F
My father was a gambling man

          Am E Am
          Down in New Orleans

Have a go at this song but be aware you may have a little trouble with one of
the chords. That chord is ‘F’. This chord is a problem to many people due to its
shape. Personally, I have found it to be one of the best chords in my arsenal as
it is adaptable across the fretboard. Do persevere with it. You will get there.

Again, it is good practice to see if you can spot minor chords in songs in your
          music collection
