Coming Back to America
The greatest Eddie Murphy movie ever created, (in my opinion) is in full production mode. “Coming to
America 2” is arguable one of the most highly demanded sequels.
In the 1988 cult classic, Prince Akeem, the sole heir to the throne of Zamunda just turned 21 is
suppose to marry a woman he never saw before. Akeem breaks with tradition and travels to America to
look for the love of his life.
Reports from Deadline Hollywood is that Prince Akeem learns he has a long-lost son and must return to
America, where he intends to inform him that he is heir to the throne in Zamunda.
Well, well, well… It looks like Prince Akeem really did soil his royal oaks.
Social media is buzzing with mixed emotions about this sequel. Some “self-proclaim movie critics” feels
this movie don’t need a sequel. And doing a sequel would tarnish the original film. But come on, we’re
talking about the Eddie Murphy, the master of sequels.
