                                            Luna’s Young Goat

                                                   By Black Cat*

Once upon a time, there was a girl called Luna in a small village in the

countryside. She was a little shy and timed, but she had a kind heart and she
loved animals and was loved by animals. She lived with her grandmother, Aria,

who was very cheerful and generous, and Luna helped her grandmother with
            taking care of animals.

One day, in the afternoon, Luna and the animals went to a field and
they played or rested for a while. After that, she was gathering every animal to

make them go back to their home, and she noticed that a young goat was
missing. She was worried and wanted to look for him, but it was almost dark

and a time to have dinner soon. So, she could not look for him and went back
            home with other animals.

After Luna came back home, she led the animals to their home and
helped her grandmother with preparing for dinner. She was always thinking

about the young goat and regretted that she did not go looking. Also, she
hesitated to tell her grandmother about it because she thought that Aria

would scold her. When it was time for praying before dinner, she started to cry
and confessed the problem to her grandmother. She said, “I’m so sorry, but a

young goat was missing and I couldn’t look for him. I’m worried about him, but
what shall I do?” Aria was surprised but she did not scold her. She said, “Don’t

cry, Luna, and thank you for telling me that problem. I think you need the
courage to tell it. However, telling your problem and asking for help

immediately is important. But, it’s not too late to look for him. Let’s go to find
him.” When Aria asked people in the village for help, many people willingly

agreed. After searching for a while, they could find him in a shadow of a bush,
and he was sleeping. Luna and Aria thanked them very much and went back

            home with the young goat.

When Luna and Aria came back to their home, they ate dinner together
and went to bed. On the bed, Luna said to herself “If I have a problem, I should
tell it and ask for help immediately. And then, they might help me.” [386 words]
