fund advising them on unlisted securities investments.
Bottomley has been the founder director of numerous successful early
stage high growth companies. By way of example he was one of the
founders and Directors of KVS Inc, the email archiving vendor that was
sold in an all cash deal to Symantec in 2004 for $225m.
He is founder and joint CEO of Imprimatur Capital the London based
international investment business with over 20 investments in 11
different countries around the world. The business has a growing
international fund management presence in emerging market e.g.
Russia, Brazil and the Baltic Sea States.
Bottomley has director level experience in companies covering private
equity, public company, investment banking, asset management and
operational management.

His professional background is in corporate finance law ultimately as an
equity partner in a City of London law firm. This firm had a strong
franchise in the music industry.
Upon leaving the law, in 1996, Watson became a founder director of a
successful e-commerce music retailer, which was sold to a major UK plc
in 1999. Between 1999 and 2002, he was also the founder of two other
successful technology start-ups, one in the area of digital music
distribution and corporate communications, and the other in the field of
web radio and advertising.
Alongside Andy Bottomley he is the co-founder of Imprimatur Capital
and its joint Chief Executive.
Watson has private and public company board level operational and
advisory experience including fundraisings, listings and M&A
transactions.
