Q : Where does the power lie?
A : There can be little doubt that up until 1991 power lay
firmly in the hands of the Stakis family who had over 25
per cent of the issued shares. The appointment of Andros
as chief executive effectively maintained this family
dominance. After 1991 power reverted to the board
which was by then a highly professional team.
