Frendia
Frendia 6
The sixth year of Frendia brought loads of excitement, thrill and a tad of nervousness in
the air of DPS North. As the first half got over with a bang, the students of DPS North were
eagerly looking forward to their stay in Angers, France. Here's a little taste of what the
French and the Indian students experienced in the last two weeks.
Inauguration Day
Inauguration Day
DAY 1
It all started at the dawn of 5th December. While the Indian families got ready to
receive their French correspondents from the airport the French kids were on their flight
thinking of how spicy Indian food would be! The French batch finally arrived after a two hour
wait and the Indian families took the kids home. After a well-deserved rest of around 10 hours
the French kids were ready to experience what India had in store for them. The Indian kids
formed groups and took their partners for various activities like bowling, paintball etc.
DAY 2
The second day of Frendia was an orientation
at school. The French kids were welcomed
with extravagant dance performances and a
heart-warming speech by our beloved Principal
Mrs Manju Balasubramanyam. This was
followed by a Teeka and flower garland
ceremony. After a quick snack break students
were taken to the resource centre where they
were taught various indigenous games like Kho
-Kho and Kabaddi.
