CMCA

An Orientation Programme for Teacher Coordinators of civic clubs was conducted on 31 Aug
2016 at Hotel Grand Pavilion, Shantinagar in Bangalore. Teacher Coordinators were provided an in
depth knowledge about CMCA , explained the roles and responsibilities of the Teacher Coordinators
and the various activities of CMCA.

There was an interesting session by Dr. Sheela Jayanth of ENFOLD, who gave a
presentation on the topic of raising awareness about child sexual abuse, both in Indian and global
perspective, as well as the proactive steps taken by the government. It was also an opportunity to
meet and interact with CMCA Volunteers from other schools.

JAKKUR KERE UTSAV was celebrated on Sunday 20th November 2016 at Jakkur lake. Many
activities were conducted . Student members of CMCA, NCC , Yoga and teachers participated with
great zeal and energy in the various activities and promoted our school motto “Service before
Self”.

The SWACHHTA PAKHAWADA showcased many activities to create awareness that
“a clean environment and healthy body makes one mentally alert.’’
