‘Not on Facebook’ Drive

A special drive “NOT ON FACEBOOK” has been carried out in the school to make the
children (under age 13) aware of the pitfalls of early exposure to social media. Some of the
most common threats seen online were highlighted and solutions for the same were dis-
cussed with the students to make them more cyber safe while being online.
Articles related to “NOT ON FACEBOOK” were prepared and displayed by the stu-
dents .In continuation with the drive for Cyber Safety our students also tried their hands
on the website called sos.fbi.gov . During the activity students played games, crosswords,
puzzles and attempted questions related to cyber safety.

The website also gave an insight into several common topics like Plagiarism, Gaming,
Copyright, Online Predators, Social Networking, E-mail, Chat Rooms…..etc.
