FAREWELL by XI GRADERS

This year DPS Bangalore north had an array of surprises planned for the senior most grade of
the school. Yes, the twelfth batch not only attended a formal graduation ceremony but they
were also treated to a farewell organised solely by the students of class eleven.

After writing the last pre-board there couldn’t be a better way to end the day than to witness a
spectacular program organised by the their very own juniors. The event commenced with a
short video summarising some of the most cherished memories of the twelfth graders. This was
followed a music performance by the school choir/ band.

Life is not a bed of roses. One must surely face a lot of problems once out of school and when
one actually faces the real world. But being brave and courageous is the key to face this
competitive world. Portraying this was a contemporary and hip-hop dance performance by some
of the girls of eleventh grade.
There was also a skit performed by the students showcasing the values taught to students in
school. It also showed how school shapes us into better human beings with good values. With
the right amount of passions and emotions, this skit was a sure shot hit. No program is
complete without the foot tapping Bollywood songs. A huge bunch of eleventh graders danced to
the Bollywood songs and left everyone spellbound.

Then came in the distribution of the hoodies. The evidence of love, joy and happiness one has
got from this school. Students were seen wearing their hoodies as soon as they received it.
Lastly the students of eleventh grade surprised their seniors by making an instant video of the
photos taken at that moment while they sang “one call away”.

The twelfth graders were seen teary eyed and with a heavy heart. Heavy with the memories of
school. Heavy with the love received from teachers. Heavy with the happiness and the pride of
a despite, now and forever!
