Day 11 – Day 13: 9 of January to 11 of January the entire group from UOI visited

Day 14: 12 of January 2017, the day was spent at DPSBN with observations,
th
interactions and sessions. Here the team attended various classes of subjects – English,
History, Physics, Psychology, Mathematics etc. They also had the opportunity to interact
with CWSN from our school.

Day 15: 13 of January 2017, The day began with team 09 students interviewing
th
Mrs.Manju Balasubramanyam for their project. After the interviews, the team Mallya
Aditi International School where their senior teacher took them through a journey of their
campus followed by an interaction with the school Principal.

Day 16: 14 of January 2017, the Valedictory Function for the India Winterim Program
th
2016 – 2017 was held at DPSBN.
The Valedictory Function was graced by Sri. Rahman Khan, Pro Vice Chairman, DPS
Bangalore & Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and his wife Mrs. Ayesha Rahman
Khan. We also had distinguished guests from the various institutes the teams interacted
with, such as the Principal, GEM Business School, Principal, Bubbles Centre for Autism,
Representatives from Akshaya Patra Foundation. Team 10 had a session where they
cooked recipes they had learnt here in India under the supervision of Mrs. Shazia
Maqsood and the chefs from Slurp Cooking Studio, Bangalore. Team 09 shared their
learnings through presentations in pairs. Team 10 shared their learning experiences after
they finished their cooking session. The certificates of completion were handed to the
students from both the teams by the dignitaries which brought an end to the India
Winterim Program 2016 – 2017.
