Impressions Aurum (Seniors)

This August, Delhi Public School Bangalore North was
proud to host the third edition of its High-school interschool Lighting of the
fest, “Impressions”. Celebrating the spirit of science and
sport in learning, AURUM 2016 was a collection of 23
interschool science-and sport relating events, which was
attended by 900 students from 24 schools across Bangalore
over the 9 and 10 of the month of August.

‘SULATUS’ saw students designing futuristic products of
their own, aimed at improving different sports, while in
‘EMPORIA’, they showcased their marketing skills in selling
their designs. In ‘Bob the Builder’, participants engineered
their own Rube Goldberg machines, ‘Cognition Bellum’
tested their knowledge in a round of quizzes, and clues were
deciphered in the treasure hunt, ‘Indiana Bones’. Polemic
prowess was displayed in the debating event, ‘Clarion’ and
tales of sportsmanship were put on stage in the theatre and
drama event, ‘Asymptotia’. Schools bands battled their best
sports theme songs out in ‘Ultrasound’ while PC-gamers
fought for the title of ‘best gamer’ in the Impressions
Gaming League.
