New Tennis Deck & Parking Structure
Currently, the lower floor of the Tennis Pavilion is occupied by the
women’s locker room, an exercise room and lounge. The mezzanine
is occupied by a fitness center. The plan proposes renovating the
lower floor to expand both the women’s locker room and lounge. The
mezzanine would be renovated to accommodate three new fitness
studios and a new corridor that leads out to a new two-level hard
surface tennis deck and parking structure.
The structure would accommodate a single level of parking on the
lower level that would hold approximately 70 self-parking spaces or
more when used for valet parking. Valet would be accessed through a
new internal campus drive that would also be used as a separate drop-
off for the new Aquatics Complex. The parking level would also be
used for storage and maintenance. The new tennis deck on the upper
level would accommodate four hard surface tennis courts, expanding
capacity and providing the preferred surface for high-end junior play.
