Who are your team members?
Tamara Volz, Mary Gilden, and Bill Volz
Who are the families you are impacting?
We are impacting families from various pre-school and childcare settings including Head
Start, Private Centers as well as Home Providers.
Who are the practitioners you are impacting?
Our Touchpoint participants have included Child Care directors, teachers as well as
Department of Human Services including foster parents, Southern Ute Community, Health
and Medical Professionals, and the Family Center.
What impact are you having on your community?
We strive to build a common language amongst providers and professionals in our
community.
What are your highlights since you began?
We have done 12 trainings with over two hundred participants. Data has shown that after
taking the Touchpoints ILT, job satisfaction amongst participants have increased. We are
pleased to have trained the entire Southern Ute Head Start and Early Head Start Staff as well
early childhood professionals in our five-county region.
