• Creating a common language around child development within and between community based
organizations
• Increased knowledge of child development for providers attending training
• Use of reflective practice groups within Touchpoints Trained Agencies or areas (Hayward Promise
Neighborhood, Alameda County Public Health Department)
What are your highlights since you began?
• Created a session called, “Using Touchpoints to Honor Diversity”
• We have 4 agencies/organizations with at least one Touchpoints trainer. One agency has 6!
• We have trained, over 200 providers in Alameda County from over 30 agencies
• Created a training team of 18 trainers from 7 different agencies
• We have 3 men of color on our team
