The workers state that they will continue the resistance until
all demands were met and sub-contracting ended. But the general
centre of the Tekstil union did not support the workers and put
up on their Internet page statements denying any connection with

the workers, who did not want to take pressure off collaborationist
unions and reacted by going to see Ridvan Budak, the union gen-
eral secretary, at union headquarters on Tuesday 11 February. No-
body was there, so the workers went to DISK headquarters. When
the articles were not disowned they said they would not leave the
spot.

At 7 pm the Kazova workers and the DIH came to show their

support for the resisting workers. As the hours drew on, the need
for dinner arose and DIH and the Kazova workers prepared food
and were about to bring it to them. News emerged that the offend-
ing articles had been removed from the website, and everyone
went to DirenKazova to eat their meal.

The workers went downstairs, chanting the slogan “Greif
workers are not alone, Kazova workers are not alone, we will win
by resisting, we are workers, we are right, we will win, occupation,

resistance, victory”. They ate the food and drank tea.

The DIH gave examples of Kazova resistance and said that
despite all negative phenomena victory was possible. And they said
what was essential was to renew the struggle. The Greif workers
responded with slogans of solidarity and departed at 10 pm.
