As international solidarity with socialist Cuba we prepared
the football strips for the friendly match between the Basque na-
tional youth and the Cuban national youth team, and we are send-
ing them to day (Monday 10 February)…

Alongside the uniforms we are sending a message to the great

leader Fidel Castro and Raul Castro, alongside our sweaters we
also send our solidarity and sensitivity to the Cuban people.

You have given your free country as an example to the peoples

of the world and you continue to show all the oppressed and our
country the way to go forward. With the strength you get from
your rightness and your ideology, you drove the imperialists from
your country and you continue to this day to hold aloft the banner
of socialism with honour and strengthen us with hope and
courage.

We want you to know that we take great pride in manufac-
turing the uniforms for the friendly match between the Basque

national youth team and the Cuban national youth team which
will take place in Havana on 15 February 2014.

We Kazova workers started actions and occupied our factory
after representatives of the ruling class and the Revolutionary
Workers’ Movement showed us the way and we seized the means
of production in order to get what was owed to us. And history
has taught us that ‘the last word belongs to those who resist’ and

with this slogan we were inspired to both resist and produce. We
