be detained. In the end they detained us by force and took us to
Sisli police station. They did not bother with any bureaucratic ar-
rest formalities but held us hostage until 6 pm when Tayyip Erdo-
gan finished his AKP meeting at Sutluce. Then they let us go.

We Have Created A First In The History Of The Working

Class Of Turkey! With The Leadership Of The DIH We Are
Producing As The Kazova Textile Workers, And We Are Man-
aging Ourselves!

We, the Kazova Trikotaj workers, were thrown out of work
without four months’ wages, notice or seniority on 31 January
2013.

With the leadership of the DIH we began resistance actions
to regain our confiscated rights on 27 February (2013). The

THIEVING, IMPUDENT AND PARASITICAL bosses did not
give us our rights preferring to remove machinery and materials
from the factory on the quiet. To prevent this, we continued our
resistance by setting up a tent in front of the factory on 28 April.
To tried for two months to make ourselves heard with various ac-
tions but the bloodsucking bosses paid no attention to us. On 28
June we took our resistance to a higher level by occupying the fac-

tory.

We have been resisting for 185 to get our rights! The AKP is
behind the thieving bosses UMIT, UMIT and GAYE SO-
MUNCU! They pretend to be pious. They even distributed money
stolen from us to people breaking the Ramadan fast. They made
a show of supporting the Mavi Marmara shipment to Gaza, using
our money for displays of “aid”…
