Attacks on the Kazova Textile workers are continuing. The
bosses, the police, the lawyers of the monopolies and bailiffs and
BEDAS are on the attack.
In the true meaning of the words, the Kazova Textile workers
are resisting the full force of the system. And who is not among
the forces attacking the Kazova workers: the bosses the Somuncu
family, the police, Labour Court judges, prosecutors, lawyers of
the monopolies, bailiffs and now Bedas…
Yes, you did not read wrong – Bedas has gone over to attack-
ing the Kazova Textile workers. The excuse for this is an electricity
bill for 120,000 TL (120 billion in old money) owed by Kazova
Textile while it has been working. In ten months Bedas never came
for the bill, in ten months they never tried to cut the electricity
while the factory was working but suddenly, now that production
has restarted, on its 100th day of resistance when Kazova was
preparing for an action, Bedas came on three occasions in an at-
tempt to cut off the electricity.
We know from our own houses that Bedas cuts the electricity
if an electricity bill has not been paid within two days. But they
did not try to cut the electricity of Kazova Textiles. The boss fled
after emptying the factory and there was no attempt to cut the
electricity. But when the workers announced they would produce
