and this was a major step towards us being able to keep control
over the machines.
For this reason, we made a promise to the new owner to move
to another place. We are bringing the machines to another place
we are holding in Gursel neighbourhood. At the same time, we
are opening a Diren Kazova shop in a two storey building in Sisli
with a garden. We decorated the shop with the help of our artist
friends. With our joint work the shop is very beautiful. At the en-
trance to the shop are old Albanian paving stones laid in the floor,
while on the shelves inside boxes there are bricks and flowers from
the garden and the walls are painted with illustrations of our his-
tory.
Of course in Turkey bosses are not the only problem for work-
ers. There is also yellow trade unionism which in the name of giv-
ing support seeks only its own interests under a “left” label and
has caused problems for many workers. We can give the Hey textile
workers as an example of this.
We have passed through such a period. There was a split in
