Tags and Swipes, Summer 2023

From our Team Coordinator

Another contest season under out belts! Whether you competed in a chorus or quartet or even
both, whether you sang for International Division, Open Division or Evaluation, whether you
watched the live stream or were busy working on chorus goals, these past few months have been
busy for all of us. And hasn’t it felt good?

Keeping up to date via social media and our very own Tags and Swipes, has shown that we are
strong and growing and singing and having fun and well, being Sweet Adelines! Now we have goals
to set, plans to make, and action to take. Membership drives, summer performances, new music,
fall shows, fundraisers and fun events like picnics and our very first Four Part Frenzy in July.

We realize that there are still challenges that we face, lower membership numbers mean lower
dues income and less people to assist with tasks. But we are growing! Prospective members are
inquiring and visiting. Keep them coming in the door and share your song with them. Your RMT is
here to support you and guide you. Keep on track, keep your positive outlook, use the resources
available from SAI and your regional teams. Singers love to sing – so keep singing and keeping
spreading the word of Sweet Adelines.
